01

Who this service is for

Manufacturers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and importers of products subject to the applicable Vietnamese inspection or certification requirements, within LotusTSE's five priority component groups.

02

When the service is needed

  • A new product range or variant is planned for Vietnam.
  • The product family, representative sample or potential use of UNECE evidence is unclear.
  • Testing and documentation need to be organized around a manageable certification scope.
  • A technical or production change may affect certification or COP.
03

What the customer should prepare

  • Product list, variants and technical specifications.
  • Drawings, markings and existing grouping rules.
  • Test reports, approvals and certificates with documents defining their scope.
  • Production-site information, planned changes and target milestones.
04

What LotusTSE does

  • Define the product scope and family based on the applicable criteria.
  • Map QCVN requirements to evidence under the relevant UN Regulation, where applicable, without assuming automatic acceptance in Vietnam.
  • Assess evidence traceability and select representative samples.
  • Identify testing, documentation, COP and change-control work.
05

What the customer receives

  • Product-scope and family matrix with representative-sample rationale.
  • Requirements-to-evidence matrix and gap list.
  • Sample list, test program and documentation pathway.
  • Reviewed technical package with prioritized actions.
06

Risks identified and reduced

A structured scope reduces the risk of grouping products incorrectly, testing the wrong sample, relying on an approval outside its scope, performing avoidable tests or missing a change that affects certification and COP.

07

Project coordination

How the project is managed

The parties agree the scope, deliverables, responsibilities and indicative milestones before work starts. A LotusTSE technical focal point tracks work items, information awaiting customer input, identified risks and next actions. Milestones that depend on an authority, laboratory or other external organization are updated against actual status.

What to send for an initial review

Send a product or facility description, the proposed configuration or scope, country of origin, available technical evidence, the issue to be resolved and the target timing. LotusTSE will identify the most important missing inputs before proposing the scope of services, deliverables, coordination method, indicative schedule and fees.
